Georgia Tech volunteers sought as judges for K-12 InVenture Prize competition.

Approximately 140 elementary through high school students participated in South Georgia Innovation Day last Friday, February 10, presenting their own inventions as a part of Georgia Tech’s K-12 InVenture Prize competition.

On March 14, 2018, Georgia Tech hosted the K-12 InVenture Prize for the fifth year.

Winners from the K-12 InVenture Prize compete and place at the National Invention Convention and Entrepreneurship Expo.

A K-12 InVenture Prize teacher was selected as a Top Innovative Teacher due to her excellence as a STEM educator.

Georgia Tech’s K12 InVenture Prize, held on March 13, 2019, pushed students to approach the innovation process from a unique and challenging perspective inside and outside of the classroom.

Georgia Tech’s K-12 InVenture Prize State Finals held on March 11th, 2020, featured 98 teams of student entrepreneurs from across Georgia.

The AEF Program has been running for 30 years and provides accomplished K-12 educators in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields with the chance to serve in the national education arena.

The 2021 K-12 InVenture Prize Competition welcomed 77 participating teams to present their unique projects and design-based solutions.
